Best Ways to Connect @ ACF:

1. Mercy Ministry through our city partners

This is our exciting new initiative (March 2018) as a church as we seek to serve, pray for and seek the “Shalom” of the city we have been brought into by God (Jeremiah 29:7; 1 Peter 2:9-12). Listen to Sermon Series HERE.

If you are in a home group, we have asked groups to choose something to do together as part of the ‘serving’ aspect of our home groups. If that is not possible for you to either join a group, or if one of the 5 mercy initiatives interests you in particular – you may sign up individually.

First view the list of options here:

Second, fill out this simple form and submit it, and we will help connect you.

2. Join a Home Group

These are small group gatherings mostly weekly, sometimes bi-weekly or monthly. They meet in homes for fellowship, Bible discussion, prayer and sharing, worship and service. This is truly where ‘church happens’ at ACF as we intentionally live out ‘meeting together’ (Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:24-25; 1 Peter 4:8-9) for mutual encouragement, to serve one another with our varied gifts (1 Peter 4:10-11) and to ‘spur one another on towards love and good deeds.’

If you’d like to join a group, please email our Administrative assistant at

3. Attend Membership class

Come to the Welcome Table on Sunday and take a Membership class brochure, and then sign up at the next available Membership class to hear our vision, understand our theological convictions, ask questions, get to know others interested in joining the church, and learn about ways to connect and serve at ACF.

4. Serve in a ministry

We are a church family where everyone does their part in serving each other for God’s glory. This includes many activities on Sunday morning including & during the week: Music, Tech/sound, Media (slides), Offering, prayer ministry, greeting newcomers and ushering, serving refreshments, setting up signage/moving tables in classrooms, teaching Sunday school or Youth, assisting in Sunday school or Youth, hosting a home group, leading a home group, and supporting in periodic all-church events (potlucks, picnics) or group-specific events (welcoming students, men’s ministry, women’s ministry).

What’s your interest in serving? What gifts/talents do you have that you can contribute to the ACF Family?
