Meet Our Pastor and Elders

David Hamburger

Senior Pastor

Pastor Dave came to ACF in August of 2013 along with his wife, Tiffany and son Wesley (4). In December 2013 they were blessed with another baby boy named Jack Willem. Prior to arriving at ACF, Dave was the Associate Pastor at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, USA. He has also served as a college minister in Massachusetts and as a missionary in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. He and Tiffany studied at Gordon-Conwell Seminary (Massachusetts) where Tiffany earned a Biblical Studies certificate and Pastor Dave earned a Master of Divinity.

Pastor Dave is very excited to be living and ministering in Antwerp! He has a heart for the city, and is eager to see people living Gospel-transformed lives. He personally enjoys studying and preaching the Word, biblical counseling, and relational evangelism. A few things he loves about ACF are how multi-cultural it is, how joyful people are and it’s urban setting. His hope is for ACF to be a Gospel-centered community, filled with kingdom-minded deeds, prayer and evangelism, and a love for God and His Word.

For fun, Dave loves sports of almost every kind. His favorites are running, cycling and tennis (though he hates how often he loses to his wife). Other things he enjoys are reading, board games, playing with his kids, new foods and cultures and exploring the great city of Antwerp.

Rajat Jha

Elder

Rajat serves as an elder at ACF. Originally from India, he moved to Belgium with his wife Sarika and 2 boys- Nathan & Aaron, in January 2011. He works for Johnson & Johnson. Prior to serving in ACF, he was a board member at his previous church, Delhi Bible Fellowship. God changed Rajat, a Hindu through the powerful & transformational preaching of Rev. P. G. Mathew, founder and senior minister of Grace Valley Christian Center, USA, who baptized Rajat and shaped his faith through clear & expository teaching.

Rajat believes that the Bible is the only infallible authority for faith & life and the gospel alone is the power of God unto salvation. Excited about how God transforms lives, his hope for ACF is to build & grow true believers, who follow Jesus in every area of life – family, relationships & work – and be enabled to openly speak about Jesus & their faith; and finally, to play an active role in the Great Commission.
